finally

slept til almost 3 today.

it had been a really long week. Moving, packing, working, having to handle Dad emotionally. Real tiring.

woke up just so so tired. yeah, the prawn noodles near my new place is quite good.

Haha... quite happy I made a clock!!! hee hee. love the clocks at Molecue but they cost at $100... wasn't ready to part with that kind of $$ so I decided to make one. Haha... ripped an old blouse of mind and used the fabric over a canvas and bought a clock mechanism from Art Friend. Voila! my own homemade clock *proud of myself*

Continued to clean, wipe, dust, pack today... little energy for that though. But glad I got some stuff done. Bit by bit everyday... Still hoping to get a book shelf soon! My books are sitting in boxes near my toilet. Grin.

Went for a SAJC play called Love, Food and Babies. Rather literal title that explains it all. Dragged my tired body there and was surprised by the fun play. Well... it was rather suggestive and felt it was a little older for the cast/audience... but nevertheless it was pretty good. Fun, funny and of course the reason I went was to see Rachy. Hee hee. Fun to see her grow up, act and yeah, just to hear her growing pangs. Love that gal lots. Warm, intelligent, emo, creative, crazy, articulate, compassionate, loving... one of those young peeps that have a real special place in my heart. Met Clyde and her bf too, great to see her stepping into full time. Glad. Strange thing was both of them said the same thing - in a card/ sms that I had left a mark in their lifes. Wow. That's encouraging. This is the kind of thing worth living for, worth giving. To inspire lifes that inspire more lifes. Great encouragement. Sure needed that. It's otherwise a rather dreary day - still feeling pooped.

Got my uplighter plugged in and gives this room a light warm glow... nice... and FINALLY... i get to spend time just playing with my photos, blogging and just chilling... longed for this for weeks already. Phew... my internet connection works (the first day I could not log on)... and the floor is clean (no more dusty feeling) and the table is here (this vhive table I bought a few years back is still handy).

Looking forward to some time to create the gardenscape for my wall above my bed. And creating more stuff from this room of mine.

Yeah... more house and room shopping tomorrow... ... and cleaning, wiping, unpacking, packing etc too... build & defend, set up & maintain. Life and its practicalities.

...

dunno what to blog but just feel like blogging.

just had a great session at cell - it's real nice that these adults (whom I'm sure have a million better things that they can do) but chose to spend time with us. heh. just to hear our journey, speak into our lives and encourage us. Precious. It's these moments that prevents me from being a cynic.

and glad - i could air somethings that were kept and buried. glad I could speak it out and have people pray with me. was reminded that my future is bright. Ha. precious. forgot about that. much needed word in season.

just to hear, walk amongst these people who have wrestled with life, faith and battled on... these people who love God and follow Him faithfully, these people who pursued God hard, these people who after all these years, can still be humble, loving, faithful, tender hearted, joyful. It's totally amazing. Blows my mind. Truly.

Glad to be part of this family.

I need to remind myself not to take on too many things...

countdown

OMG - i really have a LOT of things, well at least compared to the rest of my family. ha. Feel apologetic but I think I should not.

Looking at these things really make me feel rich. Not monetarily... but more so... life experiences. That I have really lived. Wow. Dabbling in so many areas - fun!

Not so much the accumulation of things but the representation - winter clothes so I could travel up the mountains, books that have shaped my thoughts, sports gear, cooking books, cards from friends, journals... Wow... it's like life before me.

Next time when I think I don't have enough, this blog entry will remind me.

this moving thing is fun...

keep moving forward

had a really pleasant weekend... thankful to an older American couple who invited me for lunch to chat through. Really felt stuck like a ball of yarn all mixed up and entangled. As we chatted, the strings begin to unravel and things begin to be clearer. After that lunch, I felt lighter and not so much worn out by my circular thoughts. Phew... tkful for them lots!!!

Caught up with a lovely gal I knew a few years ago - my milo gal. I was queing up one day at a camp and was so tired after videoing... in my heart, i whispered for someone to make milo for me and she volunteered! Love that gal... she has a special place in my heart. She was sec 4... not she's in Uni.Ha! Glad to share dessert and just catch up. Lovely.

Plus a fantastic book I've always wanted to read but never gotten down to doing it. But Haha! Finally started on it/

Sat was funny - met my secondary sch friends for lunch and JC friends for dinner/movie... it's like my packing... finding things from the past til now - old cards, letters, photos... it's like having my life flash before me...I teared too... as I saw myself grow and the smiles on my face, can't help but feel that God has seen me grow and does not look at me in my state but loving me for who I am, believing in who I can be and what I will become. WOW.

Enjoyed "Meet the Robinsons"... a lovely message of choosing our response to the bad that happens to us and choosing to let go of bitterness... and keep moving forward... and choosing to see the good. I'm glad for the schools I went and the people I've met... Wow... a positive and non cynical statement. Thumbs up!

Had a lovely sunrise service today at church - nice... just seeing the dawn come... seeing hope arrive. Nice.

Can't believe I'm just going to stay here for just one more week... ...Got to sleep... tomorrow is a brand new day. Going to face it with joy.

blah blah blah blah blah

just feel like rambling

eeeks... it's still tough days...

but was rather fun today -

had lunch with an older friend and it was good just processing stuff. She asked a lot of questions... which helped me focus more. She has not heard much of my story so it was good, I was less emotionally involved and could be more rational about things... At least it gave me some handles and pointers to start... progressing somewhere... lots to think and ponder...

was fun at a meeting - though i still find myself not getting the hang of things... but was fun just interacting with people and being a part of a discussion. of something exciting. Went to Toys'R'us to buy toys for a shoot tomorrow. Grin, I like that. Hmm... I was a little flabbergasted at the Barbie section - where there was so much selection. Even interiors! And celebrity dressing. And I was surprised that the interior design and clothes were really up to date. Some of the dresses are the ones I will also wear *faints*!!!

Looking forward to the shoot tomorrow, sounds fun!

Having some friction at home due to the move - different family members have different agenda and different moving patterns... ha! Wonder why i get picked on. Sigh... oh well... bittersweet.... .... ... just have to remind myself how good Royce bittersweet chocs taste.

Ok... gotta sleep.
